01
Inspection First
We start with a duct camera run through the main trunk and a blower door test to measure system leakage. You see the screen. If the ducts are clean, we tell you and leave. If there is buildup, we show you where it is and how thick. This takes 20 to 30 minutes.
02
System Under Negative Pressure
We connect a negative air machine to the main trunk and seal every register except the one we are working. That keeps the whole system under suction so nothing we loosen ends up in your living room. The machine runs through a HEPA filter and exhausts outdoors.
03
Mechanical Agitation
A rotary brush and air whip go down each branch line. The brush scrubs the duct walls while the air whip blasts compressed air into corners the brush cannot reach. Flexible duct rod sections let us work 30 to 40 feet from a single access point without cutting extra holes.
04
HEPA Vacuum and Register Cleaning
After agitation, a HEPA vacuum pulls the loosened debris from the trunk. We pull every register cover, wash it, and vacuum the boot behind it. In older Midvale homes, this is where we find the pet hair, toy cars, and drywall dust that have been sitting since the last remodel.
05
Verification and Sealing
We run the duct camera again and show you the before-and-after on screen. Any joints that leak get sealed with mastic or foil tape. If we found pest infestation in ducts or mold growth in ducts, we document it with photos and walk you through the next step before we pack up.
