01
Inspection
We arrive with a duct camera and blower door, then walk every run from the furnace plenum to the farthest register. You see the screen. We note the worst runs, any disconnected joints, and whether your flexible duct has collapsed. This takes 15 to 20 minutes and costs nothing.
02
System Setup
We connect a negative air machine to the main trunk and seal the registers we are not actively cleaning. This puts the whole system under negative pressure so loosened debris travels to the vacuum instead of into your living room. Floor coverings go down before any equipment comes inside.
03
Mechanical Cleaning
A rotary brush and air whip work through each run, scrubbing the walls of the duct. Compressed air nozzle attachments reach into corners a brush cannot. For sheet metal duct we use flexible duct rods to get around tight elbows. This is the loudest part of the job and usually takes 60 to 90 minutes.
04
Sealing and Repairs
Any gaps we found during inspection get sealed with mastic or foil tape. If a section of flexible duct is torn or crushed, we replace it. Register covers come off, get washed, and go back on. We also check your dryer vent while we are in the system, since a clogged dryer vent is a fire hazard.
05
Final Walkthrough
We run the system, check airflow at every register, and show you the before-and-after camera footage. You get a written summary of what we cleaned, what we sealed, and when to schedule the next service. Payment is due at completion, and we take card or check.
